Here's a link from the Environmental Defense detailing Davis' "scorecard" for pollution. For a "green" city, Davis is much worse than we'd think. The highlights of the reports include the two Superfund sites -- one contains radioactive dog shit, and the other contains a pesticide contamination plume spreading in the groundwater underneath the Mace Ranch development. The scorecard also has a link that lets the reader know what to do to take action regarding the pollution.
The really scary part is that, for whatever reason, this data is unavailable from the EPA's Toxics Release Inventory website although EPCRA requires it to be.
